Mac users especially should find it to be less cumbersome and disjointed...something I struggled with on the last site. There are still a few sections I need to develop as of yet (the shop etc..) but the basics of it are there to start.
You may also notice (and can tell form the website title) that I have moved on from the Inky Dreadfuls moniker. I had fun using it as my "Nome de' plume" since 2005 but now as the artwork evovles the title seems too specific to my older pieces. Part of my decision to use my given name was also a nice way for me to honor of my Father, Michael Mararian Sr. who passed away earlier this year. (I have however, nostalgically kept Inky Dreadfuls as part of my Blog for now). This website site will probably stay up until November and then be archived.
In any event, I am busy hammering away at putting together work for my next solo show in Los Angeles in January 2010. I'll see you then and look forward to hearing what you think of the new work.
For now enjoy the new site

ISM Untitled Love Project
| The untitled LOVE project is an emotionally influenced experiment examining the broken heart. Each individual artist will revisit a past relationship through their medium (illustration, painting, photography, etc). The book features each original artistic expression accompanied with interviews, short stories, or journal entries regarding the story behind the conceptual recollection. Vulnerability is a necessity. Click here to purchase a copy of the book.
